Built by Jean Bourré,
one of the principal advisers of the king Louis XI (1461-1483),
the castle of Plessis constitutes the perfect compromise between
the small fortified town and the palate of approval. Its ditches
out of water, its white stone and its slate roofs gray confer a
single aspect to him which classifies it among the prettiest florets
of the Loire Valley.
