Long speeches are not needed to present one of the most famous chateaux of the Loire Valley. The elegant lines of Azay-le-Rideau, reflected in its wide moat, have been seen around the world, attracting millions of visitors. A masterpiece of the first French Renaissance period, Azay is, from some points of view, symbolically reminiscent of late 15th century medieval fortresses.

The castle is open all days :

- on April 1 at June 30 of 9h30 with 18h
- on July 1 at August 31 of 9h30 with 19h
- 1st at September 30 of 9h30 with 18h
- on October 1 at March 31 of 10h with 12h30 and 14h with 17h30

The castle is closed on January 1, May 1 and on December 25.
